Summary:

IDP were invited to work with Wokingham Borough Council, Wilson Bowden Developments and David Wilson Homes to develop proposals to deliver a bold new vision for the town centre that is sensitive to its market town historic fabric. The extensive urban extension of the wider town has required the re-imagining of the town centre in order to ensure it provides the amenities necessary for a fast expanding population. As part of a wider approach to reinforce the town with additional retail and mixed uses, IDP worked closely with a collaborative team to deliver a design that has been awarded “Built for life” outstanding by design south east.
