Summary:

IDP Landscape provided townscape and visual assessment for the mixed-use scheme including a hotel, ski centre, arena, and leisure uses.

Our input considered the impact of the development on key receptors in the 5km study area, using ZTV mapping software to understand the extent of views, and CGI wireframes from agreed viewpoints to demonstrate the scale and massing. The landscape strategy complemented the contemporary and stylised building design through strong delineation of spaces using avenues of trees and rectilinear planted areas, as well as clipped trees to create a series of connecting spaces around the circular space-frame swimming pool and flumes.
