Summary:

IDP were approached by Equans to compete to develop a concept for the first phase of the RAF Wyton Garden Village (Wyton Hill Gardens). IDP won the commission through the proposal of a first phase of development structured to both act as the first component of a wider settlement, whilst also ensuring this phase could function as a place in its own right.
IDP developed a rational masterplan using organised streets with shaped, curved-forward vistas and controlled/managed views. The elegant geometry is conceived to maximise a south-facing roofscape, which assists in the delivery of the zero carbon sustainability targets for the project.
