Summary:

Cromwell Road in Cambridge is an attractive project of 295 dwellings that include a mix of private and affordable houses and flats, a nursery, a community facility and a basement car park. As the technical architects on this project, we were commissioned to coordinate with rest of the design team to create the fully detailed working drawings. This inspiring project exposes attractive details such as inset balconies, curtain walls, winter gardens, corduroy brick patterns and cantilevered balconies alongside prioritising safety, accessibility, sustainability, affordability and tenancy mix. The scheme features native wildflower green roofs, wheelchair accessible units, non-combustible materials and sustainable drainage.
